Let me lay down this fact for you.. I have very little natural talent.
I wasn't born with incredible intelligence, being awesome at any particular sport, having model-like looks [no matter how much I like to tell mysel]
Yet I've spent the last incredible week state side, once again, massively humbled, being surrounded by some of the smartest entrepreneurs in the world
Is there anything different about these people from me and you?
Is there fuck
You can keep telling yourself all you want that they got "lucky".
That they were born smarter, that they had better connections, that they had more to begin with.
But one inescapable fact that slaps you right on the forehead when leaving an event like this
Every single person put the damn work in
They didn't listen to those excuses
Didn't let their past or their dark situations [of which there are plenty] define who they are, hold them back from achieving what they knew they were worth.
And they moved mountains to ensure they made it happen
You see, you can be as talented as you want
But hard work beats talent everytime
Don't listen to the guru bullshit..
Yes, The time will come when you can chill on a beach earning a passive income.. It will
But it will not come without getting your gloves on, pulling out all the stops and shovelling around in the dirt
I've worked everywhere from McDonald's to selling charity door to door, I've got to where I am [which is still far far from where I want to be] by being tenacious as fuck
And you better believe if you're not ready to put the work in to achieve your dreams...
There is someone out there less talented than you, who's making the sacrifices, who's pounding down the hours, who's hustling like crazy..
that will achieve them for you
